
Do you have curves in your home? From molding to thermostats to fixtures to archways, curves can appear in plenty of places. With a little practice, they're a snap.
Step 1
Apply a piece that overlaps the curved item.
Step 2
With your scissors, clip as much as needed to reduce tension and allow it to lie flat against the wall.
Step 3
Press the piece tightly into the curved area. Smooth, then use a utility knife to cut to the shape of the curve.
Step 4
Reveal.
For curved archways:
Step 1
Apply accenter to the underside of the archway. Extend about an inch past the edge.
Step 2
Use your scissors to clip the section that extends beyond the wall as much as needed to reduce tension.
Step 3
Fold the flaps to the wall and smooth well.
Step 4
Reveal.
Step 5
Apply Bella & Birch to the main wall area, extending past the archway.
Step 6
Smooth.
Step 7
Trim the piece to the shape of the archway with a utility knife.
Step 8
Smooth the cut edge again firmly with your hand.
Step 9
Reveal.
Step 1
